Description
The range of outbuildings at Cilsant is constructed from whitewashed rubble stone and features slate and corrugated iron roofs. The main building has a slate roof and is a long, lofted structure. It includes a single square loft opening located under the eaves, while the ground floor is symmetrically arranged with a small window and door on either side, as well as a similar small window in the center, all featuring timber lintels. There are outside steps at the right end leading to the loft door.
Attached to the left is a long single-storey range that has doors at each end and two groups of three cart entries, also with timber lintels. Inside, there is a single long stable that includes a larger loose box at each end and five stalls in between. The floors are cobbled, and the roof is supported by oak joists with bolted collars to collar-trusses. The single-storey range has a feed passage at the back, and most of the roof timbers have been replaced.
