Description
The outbuildings to the north of Cefn Trenfa consist of a barn and attached structures, built in the 19th century. They are constructed from whitewashed rubble stone and feature slate roofs, forming an L-shape. The east-facing barn has a cambered arched cart entry and a full-height barn door. There is a loft door on the end wall, accessed by stone steps, and the roof is hipped at the northwest corner.
To the south, there are two ranges that step downhill. The upper stable range includes two loft lights located under the eaves, along with two stable doors that are flanked by semi-circular openings. A fifth central semi-circular opening is also present. The stone voussoirs are a notable feature. The lower range has two loft lights positioned to the left and center, two doors on the ground floor to the left, a small window to the left, a window to the right, and two arched cart entries to the right, which have a circular pitching-eye above. Stone voussoirs are also featured in this range.
The interiors have not been inspected.
