Description
Glynhir Bailiff's Cottage is a two-storey farmhouse that is part of a larger range, connected by an infill section to the east, which leads to the Coach-house block. The cottage faces north towards the farmyard and is constructed from local sandstone rubble with a roof made of local sandstone slabs and tile ridges. There are rendered chimneys at both ends of the cottage.
On the north elevation, which is to the east of the Brewhouse link, there are two windows in the upper storey with square openings positioned close to the eaves. The lower section features a doorway and three windows, all with cambered arches, along with a simple porch at the doorway. The carpentry on the front elevation has been completely replaced.
The rear elevation, which faces the mansion, has three segmental-arched two-light casement windows, although the one on the right has been walled up. Each casement consists of four panes and has stone sills. Below the walled-up window, there is a ground storey fixed eight-pane window with a deep segmental head and a stone sill.
