Description
The Glynhir Coach-house is a long structure that connects the barn to the garden wall of the mansion. It is built from uncoursed rubble masonry and features a roof made of stone slabs with plain red ridge tiles. Near the southern end, aligned with the access yard to the mansion, there is a slightly projecting gable that includes a large deep segmental coach-arch below and a blocked loft hatch above. A clockface is positioned at the apex of the gable, which also has a cupola at the top. On either side of the gable are openings with deep segmental arches; the left opening is a doorway, and both have modern joinery. Above these openings are two three-light windows, each with slightly cambered heads.
There is an infill section between the front of the coach-house and the east gable wall of the Bailiff's Cottage, which contains an additional coach-house facing the main house. This section features tall double doors with a cambered arch, a small window above to the right, and a modern door at the corner. On the left side of this link section, there are two windows above and two doors in their original openings. The left gable has a door and one window above, both of which have been altered. The openings in the rear elevation have also been modified.
