Description
Glynhir Paddock Range is a long, two-storey building constructed from local sandstone rubble, with some areas finished in courses. The roof is made of local sandstone slabs, canted and hipped at the west end and half-hipped at the east end. The corners at the west end are canted, and there is a small modern chimney on the north slope near the west end.
At the east end, a low shed connects the Paddock range to the ruined former greenhouses. A gate at the west end leads from the paddock to the stable range, separating it from the farmyard.
On the north elevation facing the paddock, there are three upper-storey windows, all square with cambered heads. The left window is a small fixed light with nine panes, while the other two are larger replaced casement windows. The ground storey features, from the left: a small square window with a timber mullion and ten panes; a modern replaced door in its original cambered opening, which is enclosed by a large lean-to glazed porch with a plinth wall and roof made of similar stone; another similar door without a porch; and a modern fixed light window in a former door opening with a lower cambered head.
The west elevation has a small window, while the south elevation has been significantly altered, with later stables added at the center.
