Description

Llandingat is a house built in the Tudor style, featuring painted stucco and deep-eaved slate roofs. It stands two storeys tall with a three-bay front, where the centre is recessed between gabled wings adorned with fretted bargeboards. The façade includes long mullion and transom windows, which originally had hoodmoulds, and is set on a stone plinth. The wings each have a 2-light window above a 3-light window, although the left wing is missing its hoodmoulds. The centre features a 2-light window breaking the eaves beneath a small gable with bargeboards, positioned above a door flanked by sidelights. A 20th-century lean-to porch roof now covers the centre recess, replacing a triple-arched veranda that is visible in older photographs.

The sides of the house have similar two-window arrangements with 2-light windows, all with hoodmoulds, and the upper windows break the eaves under bargeboarded gables. On the left side, there is a door and a narrow window in place of a window. A lower two-storey wing projects to the left, featuring a broad gable with bargeboards. The front-facing side of this wing mirrors the main house's detailing, with single-light windows on each floor, hoodmoulds, and a dormer gable above. The gable end has a 3-light window without a hoodmould over two sashes, one with 12 panes and the other with 16 panes. At the rear, there is a single-storey addition made of brick, which includes a small end stack, 4-pane horned sashes, and a central door. The right wing of the main range has a large rendered end stack, which was previously accompanied by others on the front ridge.
