Description
Tancoed is a 19th-century house that forms a mirrored pair with No 14, known as "Frankville." The building has two bays and stands two storeys high, topped with a slate gabled roof and a chimney positioned to the right. It features bracketed eaves and a painted stucco facade, which includes a plinth and long and short quoins on the right side. The first floor has four-pane horned sash windows, while the ground floor boasts a 2-4-2-pane canted bay window with a dentil cornice on the right. To the left, there is a 4-panelled door, consisting of two raised and fielded panels and two flush panels, accompanied by a rectangular overlight. This door is set in a shallow panelled recess flanked by panelled pilasters and consoles that support a flat cornice. The doorcase is paired with that of No 14.
