Description
Penllwyn Cottage is a restored pair of two-storey double-fronted cottages built of rubble stone, featuring renewed slate roofs with projecting eaves and three stone stacks. The original front, which is now the back of the house, has stone segmental heads over the lower-storey openings and wooden lintels above. The doorways have renewed boarded doors. The windows consist of 4-pane sash windows on the lower storey and small casements above, although the windows are not aligned.
At the left gable end, there is an added lean-to that includes a 4-pane sash window at the front, set under a brick segmental head, and a similar window on the side wall, framed in brick jambs.
The rear features three segmental-headed doorways; the left-hand doorway has a renewed boarded door, while the other two are blocked. There are 4-pane sash windows located at the left end and to the right of centre.
The property has not been inspected.
