Description

This is a lofted farm outbuilding located on the south side of Court Farm. It is constructed from rubble stone and was found to be much overgrown at the time of inspection. The original slate roof is missing, but the rafters remain in place. The south front features an embattled parapet supported by a corbel table. There are two pointed doorways, with the right-hand doorway being higher than the left. Both doorways have replaced arches made of rock-faced stone. Above these doorways, there are putlog holes and a line of three ventilation strips. At the rear of the building, where the ground level is higher, there is a central loft doorway.
