Description

Mount Hill is a late Georgian villa that has a roughly square plan and a U-shaped roofline with a central valley. The walls are rendered, and the roof is covered with slate. There are two brick stacks on the left-hand ridge and a stack with paired round shafts on the right-hand ridge, which were overgrown at the time of inspection.

The front of the villa has four bays with pointed windows featuring small-pane sashes and Gothic glazing bars. The entrance is located to the left of the center and is accessed through an added open gabled porch supported by posts. The door has blind Gothic panels and is topped by a pointed overlight with Y-tracery.

On the right side wall, there are three pointed sash windows similar to those on the front, along with a square-headed fixed small-pane window further to the right. The rear elevation features a two-storey left-hand gable end that incorporates service rooms, while the right-hand gable is set back.

The property was not inspected during the assessment.
