Description
This is a two-storey town house located at 2 Spilman Street, constructed in painted roughcast with a high coped parapet that conceals a hipped slate roof. The building features a two-window range and a painted stucco plinth. All openings are arch-headed, with the windows displaying blind arches over 12-pane sash windows. To the left, there is a six-panel door with radial bars in the fanlight above. The doorcase to the left is open-pedimented, made of timber, and includes pilasters and small square panels at the heads. The parapet is unadorned and lacks coping.
Inside, the right room has a marble fireplace on the rear wall, with an elliptical arched recess to the right and another recess to the left above the door leading into the rear room. The interior also features panelled doors and shutters.
