Description
3 Queen Street is a house with a shop, part of an informal terrace. It features unpainted stucco and a slate roof with paired brackets at the eaves cornice, which aligns with No 2 and widens to the left as the wall of No 3 angles to follow the street line. The building is three stories tall and has a two-window range of renewed 12-pane sash windows, which are offset to the right. The ground floor was altered in the 20th century, with roughcast around a three-light shop window to the left and a doorway to the right, both beneath a 20th-century cornice and fascia. There is a stuccoed step leading up to a 20th-century eight-panel door, with the top two panels being glazed. A 20th-century hanging sign is located to the left of the first floor. The ground floor and stair have been modernized.
