Description

The front garden wall, gate, and railings to No 2 are a notable feature, constructed from coursed squared rubble and topped with slate coping. The low railings are made of wrought iron, which has eroded over time, and consist of three horizontal bars with dog-bars in the lower section. The bars alternate between arrowhead finials on the top and middle bars, and all bars are square in section. The stanchions have urn finials and flank a single gate that matches the design of the railings, featuring dog-bars and spearheads. The top bar of the gate is gently down-curved towards the center.
