Description

Llwyn Celyn is an attached house that is set back slightly from No. 23 and positioned well forward of No. 24, making it larger than both. The house features white-painted stucco and a slate roof, with a renewed eaves cornice that includes dentils and rebuilt brick end stacks, with the right stack being shared. It is two stories tall with a cellar and has a three-window range. The windows are now modern uPVC, and there is a central arched doorway with a 20th-century renewed doorcase that resembles the previous one. The entrance is adorned with an open pediment supported by reeded columns, and there is a flight of five stone steps leading up to a 20th-century panelled door with a fanlight and panelled reveals. The house has a raised plinth and a casement-pair cellar light beneath the right window, along with a fluted rainwater head to the left and a loft light on the left end wall.

The front garden is enclosed by a dwarf grey limestone wall and features iron railings with uprights that have scrolled finials and dog-bars, as well as urn finials on the stanchions. There are matching double gates. In 1981, all windows were timber, with 12-pane sashes above and 16-pane sashes below.
