Description

The Old House at Trefenty is a former estate farmhouse dating from the 18th century. It is a two-storey building constructed of whitewashed rubble stone, featuring large quoins at the corners and red brick heads and dressings around the openings. The roof is slated, and there are red brick stacks at both ends.

The long facade includes two gabled dormers that break the eaves at sill level. On the left side, there are paired casement windows, while the right side is missing its windows. The ground floor has a central door flanked by a window on each side, beneath the attic dormers, and a third window is located at the extreme right. All openings are either boarded or have been replaced with late 20th-century 12-pane windows. There is evidence that the upper storey windows were raised, as blocked openings can be seen below the current slate sills. The right gable has a blocked ground floor doorway to the left of centre.

The building was not inspected and was derelict at the time of the inspection.
