Description
Parson's Lodge is a two-storey building with stucco fronts and plinths, designed in a square double-pile layout. It features three hipped roofs arranged in a U-shape, with brick chimney stacks. The north front has two widely spaced windows and faces the driveway, with an offset landing window above the central six-panel door, which serves as the main entrance. The windows are 12-pane sash types.
On the east side, there is a central full-height recess that holds a similar sash window above a flat-roof porch supported by reeded pilasters and Doric columns, leading to another six-panel door. The south side has two windows with four-pane sashes set in similar recesses. To the left, there is a later addition with modern windows, and a small outbuilding dated 1850 extends to the south. A further range runs north along the west side of the house; the northern hipped end has been converted from a former coach house and retains horizontally sliding sash windows with cambered heads, creating a two-sided courtyard at the front, which includes a cast-iron water pump.
Inside, the building retains its original staircase.
