Description

The Cartshed and Stable at Brixton Farm is a two-storey farm building constructed of whitewashed rubble, topped with an asbestos roof. The gable end facing the cowhouse is exposed rubble. On the north gable end, there is a parallel flight of stone steps leading up to a boarded door that accesses the stable loft. The upper floor features square openings, and to the right of the camber-headed double door cart entrance, there is a small pane window, with brick voussoirs above it. A boarded door is located in the center of the building. Inside, the structure has simple roof trusses with overlapping purlins.
