Description

23 Goat Street is a terraced house featuring painted stucco and a slate close-eaved roof with a brick stack at the right end. The building stands three storeys tall and has three bays. The upper floors are adorned with closely spaced horned plate glass sash windows that have stone sills, except for the middle first-floor window, which may have been inserted later. On the ground floor, there is a square bay window to the right of the center, topped with a hipped slate roof. The center has a horned sash window, which includes an 8-pane upper sash and a plate glass lower sash, along with matching fixed side lights that have 2-pane tops over plate glass bottom halves. The cornice has been renewed, and there is a 20th-century door to the left. The interior has not been inspected.
