Description

Goitre is a large farmhouse built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed from colourwashed rubble stone and features a slate close-eaved hipped roof with yellow brick stacks added in the late 19th century. The building has a square plan and stands two stories tall, with a front that includes three large sash windows: 20 panes above and 24 panes below, along with a central ledged door that has an overlight. The rear of the farmhouse also has three windows, which have been replaced with 20th-century versions.
