Description
Berachah Cottage is a detached house constructed from stone rubble and whitewashed on the road and side elevations. It features a slate roof and stucco-clad end stacks. The building is single storey at the front (north) and has two storeys with a high basement at the back (south), which has a two-window range. The south elevation includes two small 4-pane sash windows positioned close under the eaves, along with two similar windows on the lower floor. The north elevation has a doorway leading to the upper floor, located under the eaves to the left of the centre, accessed by two cement steps and a half-glazed 20th-century door. There is a lean-to structure set back at the eastern end. The current entrance to the ground floor is located in the west gable end, where several projecting building stones in the right corner suggest a possible intention to build.
