Ynys Coch Fach is a detached house built from whitewashed rubble stone and topped with a slate roof featuring stone end stacks. The house is two storeys high and has a three-window range that is offset to the left. The upper floor has small four-pane sash windows with heads located under the eaves, while the ground floor features longer sashes, with a four-pane window to the left and a two-pane window to the right, all equipped with painted rough slate sills. The doorway is situated beneath the central window and consists of a plain board door with a plain overlight above it. To the left of the main structure, there is an altered single-storey rubble stone lean-to that includes a doorway on the right and a small window adjacent to it on the left. The back wall is made of rubble stone and has no windows. The property was not inspected at the time of the survey.
