Linked Outbuildings NE of Tyllwyd

The linked outbuildings northeast of Tyllwyd are constructed from rubble stone and topped with grouted slate roofs. A high rubble stone wall runs along the north side of the drive, curving towards each coach-house gable end. Both coach-houses feature Caerbwdy stone dressings around broad depressed-arched doorways. The arches have raised piers, plain imposts, voussoirs, a keystone, and an arch-ring, with plain block shoulders supporting small three-pointed finials on plain blocks above. The eastern coach-house is smaller, has ledged doors, and is dated '1844' on the arch ring, with 'Wm S Ll Esq' inscribed above. In the center of the wall between the coach-houses is a narrower garden entry, also featuring similar ashlar piers and a depressed arch, with the garden wall raised and carried over. The western coach-house has blocked doors and a datestone marked '1848'. This structure forms the end wall of an L-plan farm range. The western side has a door to the right and two cart entries to the left, both with stone voussoirs. A further range extends west from the north end, containing four doors and one loft door. The rear wall of the walled garden, which is partly collapsed, extends east from the northeast angle.
