Description

Later C19 range of outbuildings in rubble stone with lightly grouted slate roofs. Single storey. Long N range of six cart-entries, five with red-brick flattened arched heads, the second removed for full-height entry with concrete block sides. Roof cladding partially missing. South end section is slightly higher with concrete lintel over pair of centre doors, brick jambs. To right a broad low brick-framed opening, red brick SW corner. Concrete block lean-to on S end.

Part of an unusually large and distinctive later C19 farmstead, probably all rebuilt after 1857 when a sale map shows a different layout.

Condition: Poor.
