Description

This is a mid- to later 18th-century farmhouse that was altered in the 19th century. It is constructed of painted roughcast rubble stone with raised cement dressings, a grouted slate roof, and stone end stacks. The main two-storey, three-window front has plain raised surrounds to 19th-century horned sash windows with marginal glazing bars. The ground floor windows are tripartite sashes, with a central door. A lower range extends to the east, featuring a large stone end chimney and slate roof. A 20th-century dormer window and a 20th-century flat-roofed extension have been added to the front.

Inside, a central dog-leg staircase has a moulded and ramped handrail. The eastern front room retains fielded six-panel doors and wide-spaced oak joists.
