Description
Treneved is an early to mid 19th-century formal farmhouse built from unpainted rubble stone, topped with a steep slate roof that has bracketed eaves. The house features broad stone end stacks, each with a pair of painted brick chimneys. The front of the building is two stories high and has three windows, each fitted with large 12-pane sashes that have cut stone voussoirs and slate sills. The central window on the ground floor has glazing that continues beneath the sill to accommodate basement stairs. The glazing bars are arranged to create slightly narrower outer panes for all the windows. At the rear, there is a roughcast wing with an end stack and 20th-century windows. Additionally, there is a lower two-storey lean-to range in the northeast angle, also with a slate roof.
