Description

35 High Street is a terraced house featuring painted stucco and a slate roof. It stands three storeys tall with an attic and has two bays that are offset to the right. The house has two hipped dormers with 20th-century glazing and hornless 12-pane sash windows on both the upper floors. The ground floor has been altered and includes a metal shop front to the right of a metal glazed house door.

Inside, there is a fine early 18th-century staircase at the rear, which has a closed string, twisted balusters, and a heavy moulded rail. The staircase rises in six flights and features square newels, with halved balusters at the top landing. On the second floor, there are two early 18th-century oak doorframes that are ogee moulded.
