Description
54 Dew Street is a terraced house dating from the 19th century. It features painted lined stucco and has a slate roof with close eaves, along with a rendered stack at the right end that has a nogged brick cornice. The house is two storeys high with an attic and consists of two bays that are offset to the right.
The exterior includes a central ornamental gabled dormer that has ornate fretted bargeboards and Gothic pointed glazing with four panes, where the lower two panes can tilt. On the first floor, there are two plate-glass sash windows that have vermiculated keystones and a raised sill band. The ground floor features a large triple plate-glass sash window in a raised plain stucco surround on the left side, and to the right, there is a square-headed doorway flanked by broad channelled piers and topped with a plain stucco head. The door consists of two long arched panels and has an overlight above it.
The interior has not been inspected.
