Description
18 Commercial Row is an early 19th-century house and shop that has been altered. The building features painted stucco and a slate roof. It is two stories high with a three-window range, showcasing three camber-headed 12-pane sash windows above, set in raised surrounds. There is a sill band beneath the upper windows. On the ground floor, there is a four-panel door with an overlight and a cornice supported by consoles. To the right, there is a 12-pane sash window in a moulded architrave with a cornice on consoles, followed by a shopfront that occupies the right half of the building. The shopfront is made of timber, featuring outer pilasters, a fascia with a cornice, and an inset door to the left with an overlight. The window beside the door consists of five tall lights, with the nearest door being canted in.
