Description
This is a terraced house located at 1 Hottipass Street, built with whitewashed roughcast cladding and topped with a slate roof that is slightly higher at the ridge and eaves compared to No 19 Kensington Street. It features small brick end stacks. The house is two stories tall with a three-window range. The upper floor has three 12-pane sash windows, with the left window positioned closer to the center than the right. On the ground floor, there are similar 12-pane sash windows on the center and right, with a 20th-century half-glazed door inserted between them, along with a 20th-century broad opening to the left that has two 20th-century doors. The plain stucco surrounds and plain stucco plinth are present. The ground floor has undergone significant alterations since 1978, when it originally featured an early 20th-century shop front in the center and right, along with a wide doorway with ledged doors leading to a through passage on the left.
