Description
Park House is a two-storey house built of stone rubble, featuring an imitation slate roof, wide bracketed eaves, and stone end stacks. The front has a three-window range of 12-pane sash windows and a central doorway. There is one slate step leading up to a 7-panelled door with a traceried overlight. All openings have slightly cambered heads and hard brick voussoirs, which were renewed in the late 20th century. To the right, there is a one-and-a-half storey service wing with a stone end stack, and a 20th-century conservatory is positioned at right angles to the house. The front garden is enclosed by a stone rubble wall with rounded rendered coping and central piers on either side of the gateway. There is also a gateway to the yard on the left, flanked by rounded piers with coping. In a previous listing, it was noted that the roof was made of grouted cement and that the walls of the house and garden had pebbledash cladding.
