Description

Terraced house, a pair with No 9. Stuccoed with slate double roof and end wall stacks. The two houses together form a large 3-storey, 3-bay pair with heavy cornice and parapet. Twelve pane sash windows to lower 2 floors, 9-pane to upper two. Stuccoed architraves to upper windows, plain to third floor, plain with cornices and pediment to centre window to second floor, shouldered architraves to first floor with cornices. Thick double band over ground floor at height of entablature over paired doorways in centre. Doorcase has 3 pilasters, frieze and moulded cornice. Panelled reveals and 2-panel doors with overlights. Sash windows each side have no surrounds. Area railings with spear-headed finials and standards at intervals. Four-storey, 3-window rear with blind panels under parapet, 20-pane windows to first and third floors, 16-pane to 2nd and ground floor 2 large altered openings..
