Description
Sleeman's Stores is a 19th-century warehouse that has been converted into a yacht club. The building is constructed of rubble stone and features a slate close-eaved roof. It stands three stories tall and has a four-window range with small window openings on both the east and west sides, which are fitted with 20th-century glazing and red brick cambered heads.
On the east side, there is a broad opening on the ground floor to the left that spans two bays and is topped with a concrete lintel. There is a window located between the second and third bays, and a door and window under a single head in the third bay, along with another window in the fourth bay. The west side has three blocked broad arches with grey stone voussoirs, situated below the high water level of the Sluice. The north gable end features a doorway on each floor and has late 20th-century added metal stairs.
