Description

This birdbath is located in the garden of the former abbot's house. It is set on a large square block made of rough stone. The birdbath features a terracotta octagonal base with a pedestal-like block above, which is made from a single piece of stone or a cast imitation stone. The square base has ogee-moulded broaches leading to a rounded, thick shaft that ends in a square top. At the top, there is a small bowl that is indented into the flat surface.
