Description

1 and 2 Back Cottages are a pair of cottages. Number 1, on the left, is a single-storey building with a long two-unit plan. It is lime rendered and has a slate roof with gable end stacks. The details have been modernised, and the windows feature concrete sills. Number 2 also has a two-unit plan but is a low two-storey structure. It is roughcast with a slate roof and end wall stacks. The near-central doorway has a part-glazed door and is flanked by four-pane sash windows. Above, there are three similar but smaller windows located just beneath the eaves. Number 2 retains its traditional layout, while Number 1 has not been seen.
