Description
Cresswell Quay Bridge is constructed from local rubble sandstone and features a small archway. It has low parapets that are approximately 0.8 meters high. The bridge has likely been significantly widened on the eastern side, making it much broader than the road from Pisgah that leads to it; however, a similar stonework parapet has been built on the eastern side. The western parapet has a rounded cemented coping, while the eastern parapet has a similar coping that comes to a point.
On the western side, the parapet follows a broad curve, with its southern end meeting the gate-pier of Cresswell House. The northern end of the parapet returns for a short distance and connects to the roadside wall of Cresswell Quay.
