Description
Coleg Corfa is a three-storey building from the Regency period, featuring a two-window front made of scribed stucco. It is considered one of the finest examples of seaside architecture in Aberystwyth. The building has a slate roof, chimney stacks made of cement render, and wide bracket eaves that extend over full-height tripartite bow windows, which are adorned with fluted colonnettes and small pane sash glazing.
The central entrance is framed by a classical doorcase with fluted Doric columns and a bracket cornice, although it has a modern door. The right side of the building is finished in cement render and includes a chimney breast, while the rear is constructed of rubble and has a modern extension.
