Sunday School

The building is a Sunday School constructed from coursed rubble stone with a slate roof. It features a rendered stack at the south end and a bellcote at the north end. This single-storey structure has a range of four windows, originally three, but extended by one bay to the south in the 19th century. There are four Gothic pointed windows with stone voussoirs and slate sills. The later 19th-century windows have simple Y tracery, which likely replaced the original small-paned glazing. The west bellcote is supported by two stone piers with projecting water-tabling, a cambered head, and flat coping. The north end wall is windowless and has a rubble stone buttress at the northwest corner. There is one door on the rear east wall, which has a filled-in pointed window above it, along with a wall-face chimney and a smaller Gothic pointed window. The south end wall is rendered and features a brick lean-to, which has a similar pointed window on the west side. The interior is simply plastered.
