Description
Hafod is a three-storey building constructed from rubble stone with slate roofs and stone stacks at each end. It features a tall three-window facade, which includes 19th-century four-pane sash windows and a centrally located ledged door. The main floors are adorned with stone voussoirs, while the upper floor has timber lintels. At the rear, there is a gabled stair tower that has an arched stair-light with Gothic intersecting glazing bars. To the northwest, there is a two-storey service range that includes a stone end stack, three paired casement windows on the upper floor, and a combination of a six-pane window, a four-pane window, a door, and another six-pane window on the ground floor. The northeast side has an outshut at the rear, which has been whitewashed, and two windows to the left of the door have been blocked.
