Description

Coursed rubbble stone with slate roofs, bracketted eaves and pale red brick stacks. Nos 1-3 are a two-storey, six-window range, Nos 1 and 2 a mirrored-pair built first, No 3 added next. Tyrrel House (q.v.) subsequently added at N end, 3-window. Horned 12-pane sash windows with slate sills and brick heads, doors with overlights. Straight joint between Nos 2 and 3, and between No 3 and Tyrrel House.

No 1 has big 9-pane shop window with timber lintel and 6-panel door. Slate-hung S end wall, S end stack.
