Description
Olwen is a house featuring colourwashed roughcast with stucco dressings, a slate eaves roof, and brick end wall stacks. The building is two storeys high with a prominent pedimental centre attic gable and a three-window range. It has stucco angle strips and later 19th century window surrounds, which are complete on the ground floor and have hoods only on the upper floor, adorned with keystones. The windows are late 19th century sashes, with a strip of stained glass in the top sash. The attic has deep eaves and an arch-headed window. The centre entrance consists of a four-panel door with a traceried fanlight, set within a crude classical timber porch supported by two elongated and bulbous columns with low neck rings and an open pediment. The north end wall features an attic sash window, with the top diagonal aligned to follow the slope of the roof.
