6 Masons Road

6 Masons Road is a simple classical building dating from the 18th century. It is a two-storey structure with three windows, except for No 1 which has two windows. The frontages are finished in scribed render and roughcast, featuring rusticated quoins and end pilaster strips. The roofs are covered with slate, and there are boarded eaves and cement render chimney stacks. The sash windows are mainly 12-pane, although No 3 has modern windows. The windows have lugged architraves with decorative keystones and voussoir lintels. The doorways display similar detailing, except for Nos 2 and 3 which have pedimented designs. No 7 features a six-panel door with a four-pane fanlight, while No 8 has a boarded and six-panel door with a four-pane fanlight. No 9 Regent Street completes the group, showcasing a one-window frontage to Masons Road and a three-window entrance elevation to Regent Street, with similar detailing as the other buildings.
