Description

The Forge is a single-storey and attic building, originally part of a row of industrial structures that included a forge, woollen mill, woodturner’s workshop, and tanner. The building is constructed of rubble and has been whitewashed on the gable end, topped with a slate roof.

On the gable end, there is one window, another window that has been blocked, and a doorway that has been bricked up. The left side features cambered headed openings, while the right side has one such opening with a studio window beyond. The building adjoins a mill structure at its far end.

Additionally, there is a broken overshot waterwheel positioned against the gable end.
