Description
Velindre Water Mill is a single-storey building with a loft, constructed from rubble stone and topped with an asbestos sheet roof. The west end wall features double doors with a timber lintel, and there is a loft window above. On the south side, there is a lean-to, and an outbuilding attached to the northwest has a slate roof and a door on the south side beneath a slate lintel. A datestone above reads: "RxBx BY BxP 1798". The east end wall has a restored iron and timber waterwheel, which is overshot, with the ironwork made by T Thomas from Cardigan. The east end gable is also clad in asbestos sheeting. It is said that the original machinery is still present inside the mill.
