Description

17 Albert Street is a group of two-storey buildings featuring scribed render, except for No 20, which has a pebbledash finish. The buildings have rusticated quoins or pilaster strips and slate roofs with wide boarded eaves. There are six rubble and two rendered chimney stacks. The end houses, No 14 and No 20, have three windows, while the others are two windows wide. All windows are sash windows, with 12 panes, except for Nos 15 and 16, which do not have glazing bars. The windows and entrances have lugged architraves and keystones, except for No 20. The doors are recessed, with a half-glazed door at No 14 and three-panel doors at Nos 15, 16, 17, and 19, while Nos 18 and 20 have modern doors. The right end wall of the group is pebbledash, while the left wall is scribed render.
