Description
Glanadair is a house and shop dating from the 20th century, constructed of coursed rubble stone with a slate roof and stone end stacks, one of which is rendered. The shop is a rendered lean-to attached to the right end wall of the house. The house features a symmetrical two-storey front with three narrow long 12-pane sash windows and a central arched door, which has stone voussoirs and stone sills. The door and fanlight are from the 20th century. The front is enclosed by railings with distinctive zig-zag rails set on low blue brick walls with brick piers; these railings were originally shown in 1910 on stone walls with stone piers. The gable ends have wavy bargeboards.
The lean-to shop on the right has a door at the angle to the house with an overlight and another door leading into the shop on the right, also a 20th-century door. There is a loft door above and between these doors. The north end wall features a two-storey, two-window arrangement with 4-pane shop windows on the lower level and 4-pane sashes above.
The building was not inspected at the time of the survey.
