Description

Yns House is a simple classical two-storey building with a three-window roughcast front, featuring end pilaster strips, a cill band, and a plinth. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, and it has boxed eaves along with brick chimney stacks. The first floor has 12-pane sash windows with scroll lugged architraves and ornamental keystones, while the ground floor features 16-pane sash windows set in segmental arched recesses. The central entrance has a pedimented doorcase that includes a recessed eight-panel door and a five-pane fanlight.

In front of the house, there is a small terrace enclosed by barley twist cast-iron railings with finials, and the gate matches this style.
