Description
Cerdd Ystwyth Music is a late Georgian building with later alterations. It has three storeys and a basement, featuring a two-window front with scribed render, end and central moulded quoins, and a rusticated ground floor. There is a cill band at the first floor level. The roof is slate, hipped at the right end, with wide bracket eaves and ridge tiling, and a red brick chimney stack. The windows have small pane sash glazing, with some renewed at No 5. Each front has three-storey bays on the left, adorned with wide cornices and faceted aprons. The right-hand first floor windows are framed by ornate Jacobean architraves above plain classical doorcases with pilasters, and there is a modern door at No 5. The building also features railed basement wells and ornate barley twist banisters at No 7.
