Description
The Royal Naval Association Club is a late Georgian building that stands three stories high and features a two-window design. The front is finished in scribed stucco, with a plinth at No 3 and rusticated quoins at No 7. It has slate roofs, bracket eaves, and rendered chimney stacks. The small pane sash windows have cills at No 3 and architraves at Nos 5 and 7, with No 5 also featuring keystones. There is an overall entablature at the ground floor of No 3, which includes pilaster strips on the right and flanking the entrance to the left. No 5 has a modern shop front that retains similar pilasters, while No 7 has a plain shop front with two-light windows and panelled double doors at the central entrance, along with a six-panel door to the left. The left end of the building is similarly rendered and has a small pane sash window on the second floor.
