6 King Street

6 King Street is a Victorian building that has undergone alterations. Number 5 features a three-storey front with two windows, finished in scribed render and accented with quoins, cill bands, and a rusticated ground floor and plinth. Numbers 6 and 7 are two-storey buildings with attic spaces, each having two windows. Number 6 is covered in scribed cement render, while Number 7 has a roughcast finish with quoins and a cill band. Both have rusticated ground floors and plinths. The roofs are slate, with wide boarded eaves on Number 5 and bracket eaves on Numbers 6 and 7, which also have rubble chimney stacks.

Number 6 features slate-hung dormers and a swept roof, while Number 7 has a pitched roof with cusped bargeboards, a pendant, and a finial. The sash windows on Numbers 5 and 7 do not have glazing bars, while Number 6 has small panes. Number 5 has a three-storey bay window with panelled aprons, and Number 7 has a similar two-storey bay window. The doorcases are topped with wide bracket cornices, and Numbers 5 and 6 have panelled reveals, while Number 7 features reeded half-columns. The doors are panelled and half-glazed.

On the right-hand gable end facing Castle Street, there are cusped bargeboards and two sash windows. There is also a cross range at the rear of Number 6.
