Description
The cow shed at Treprior Farm, built around 1860-1870, is a long structure made of red brick, featuring a plinth and constructed from large Cardigan L-shaped hollow bricks. It has a slate roof with swept eaves and three ventilators along the ridge. The east front is symmetrical, consisting of a door, three windows, another door, three more windows, and a final door. The doors and windows are surrounded by chamfered brick with segmental pointed arches. The windows are narrow iron frames with eight panes, while the doors are ledged. There are circular windows positioned high on the north and south walls. A lean-to on the north end is made of later brick and includes two windows and two doors. Inside, the roof features scissor rafters, and there are large slate slab dividers between the cow stalls.
